I did a contested divorce consultation with Mr. Brownell today. The consultation was free however it was very lengthy. He did not rush. He was very warm, considerate and knowledgeable. I am greatful for the time he gave me today. He was very "down to earth" and understanding. When I am ready to proceed with my case, I most assuredly will use his services.

To say the least, I Hired Mr. Brownell for years, for an ongoing case that I had. This man is an absolute angel. Mr.Brownell took on my case after I fired my first lawyer for ethics issues. He jumped in head first in an emergency custody case involving my son. After almost 12 years of only having joint legal custody I left that courtroom with full physical and joint legal custody of my daughter and son. 10/10 A review will never suffice to express the gratitude I have for this man. I never had any respect or understanding of the lawyer profession and after calling multiple trial lawyers that quoted me 50,000 retainers and even got quoted for 100,000 for trial costs. This was the scariest time of my life and when I called the first thing the lawyer would ask is how much money I have. When I called Bill, this man never asked me about money and talked with me on the phone for over an hour to understand my case. All of that doesn't even matter. What matters is the results and his understanding of the legal system and ability to convince and pressure the prosecutor for years. He shared all of his correspondence with prosecutor and his tactics led to my case being dropped after many years, I'm convinced many others would not have had a lawyer so steadfast and would have ended up with an unjust result. Anyways, I learned after dealing with Bill Brownell that a lawyer is way more than someone you hire for advise, you need someone that will fight for you because's your life at stake and actually have your best interest at heart and I feel like Bill did. I was looking at 2 life sentences and received offers and threats of trial for 3 years before it was all dropped like it was never a big deal.. it turned out good because I called Mr. Brownell that late evening, I'm so glad I did. I won't post how much he charged me because all fees are relative but lets just say I would have payed 10 times as much for the service I received. Thank you sir for your professionalism.

Mr. Brownell handled my divorce/child custody/child support case, and I could not have asked for a better attorney. Mr. Brownell is dedicated to his clients, and he never fails to communicate. Every time I emailed him, I received a timely response. That is rare these days. Every time I met with him, I left his office feeling confident and assured. Mr. Brownell is very knowledge about several areas of law, and he never made me feel like I was "just a number". I hope I'll never need legal services again, but if I do, I would without hesitation or doubt hire Mr. Brownell again.

My case isn't over yet, but I felt compelled to go ahead and write a review. When I called Mr. Brownell's office seeking representation for my Divorce, HE answered the phone. I was dumbfounded! He spoke to me for a while, asking excellent questions, and then quoted me a reasonable retainer fee. I immediately scheduled an appointment. Every meeting I have had with him since has left me feeling at ease and confident about my case. I know he is a very busy man, but he makes me feel like I am his only client. Our case took some time due to the Defendant side, and OUR Hearing lasted a total of three minutes. (With exceptional results). My suggestion to anyone needing his help, call him. My drug possession case was a particularly complicated one, involving 3 jurisdictions. William, "Bill", was very thorough and diligent with his investigation on the matter. The DA was insistent on prosecuting my case no matter what the evidence showed. Bill stood solidly on what he believed to be the truth, and eventually, after 2 years the DA decided to drop the case the night before the trial. Bill believed in me and he did not waiver one bit, but he does expect clients to tell the truth.

I have referred many people to Mr. Brownell. In fact, members of our family have used him many times for court cases. I have used him twice for child support my ex-husband has owed, neither of which resulted in having to go to court - he was able to get my ex's attention with very stern letters.
